Besides go home? I want to go back and get my boyfriend. I want to scream. [ She looks down.] I want to hurt myself because it feels like too much.

[He doesn't seem particularly bothered at this exact moment by the notion of I want to hurt myself.. Instead he takes her hand.]

Scream.

[ She balks at his suggestion.] Here? Now?

[occultatum]

Yeah.

What's going to happen if you do?

People will look? Someone will see you?

[perfectible]

[ She gives him one last look of protest before she exhales and well, she just screams.

She gets about half of it out before she covers her mouth. ]

[occultatum]

[He catches her wrist.]

Mean it.

[perfectible]

[ She gives him a frustrated look before she relents, letting her arm fall down. And she does it again, screaming again, anxious and agonized and when the sound stops, a tear slips down her cheek.]

[He waits a moment, and then he reaches for her, to hug her, and hold her close.]

Okay.

[perfectible]

[ She doesn't resist him, she lets him pull her in close and she buries her face against his shoulder for a moment.] I guess I needed that.

[occultatum]

Yeah, I know.

[He says it gently, and he rubs her back, gently. This isn't sexual at all. This is absolutely just sweet.]

[perfectible]

[ She shudders in his arms twice before she nods.] I'm okay.

[occultatum]

You're not.

[But that said, he kisses her on the forehead.]

Come on. Let's keep going.

[perfectible]

[ She doesn't argue with him this time, she simply nods and moves get them walking again.]
